Lifelines
Lifelines is an evidence-based, comprehensive, and whole-school suicide prevention program for grades PreK-12. It consists of three components: Postvention, Intervention, and Prevention. This trilogy contains information designed to help districts address and respond not only to suicide, but to any type of traumatic death that profoundly affects the school population. Information is also provided to administrators, school faculty, parents/guardians, and students on suicide facts and warning signs, where to find suicide prevention resources in the school and community, how to intervene on a student in crisis, and how each school community member plays a pivotal role as suicide “preventers”.
