These initiatives provide local individuals and families with essential supplies, encouragement, and resources to help them feel supported, stable, and empowered.

Supporting Stronger Families, and Brighter Tomorrows
Leadership Somerset’s Class of 2026 is partnering with Empower Somerset and the Pioneer Family Success Center to support two meaningful community initiatives: Home Care Kits and Encouragement Kits.
Home Care Kits will support individuals and families served through our Somerset Rapid Rehousing Project, which assists those who are experiencing homelessness, need help securing stable housing, or are facing possible eviction. The kits will include essential household, cleaning, paper, and personal care items to help families as they work toward greater stability.
Encouragement Kits will support Empower Somerset’s mental health awareness trainings and suicide prevention initiatives by providing comforting items, positive messages, and helpful resources for individuals who may be struggling or simply need a little extra encouragement.
In addition to monetary donations, we are also accepting donations of supplies to help fill both types of kits. Every contribution can make a meaningful difference for our Somerset County neighbors.
